FAQs

Pixie Dusted Productions blends together a number of aspects from different business/nonprofit models into one unique concept.
We do not perform at private residences (birthday parties). Instead, we work with local businesses, Government agencies like Main Street Organizations, local libraries and so on - to bring theatrical character magic to community events. Each Spring we host a large show and throughout the year we perform at various community events such as Fall Festivals, parades and Library Summer Reading Programs (to name a few). This Spring we look forward to presenting our first full length show title, Frozen The Broadway Musical, which will be held at the Historic Ritz Theatre in Downtown Toccoa, GA. -
No! This is a one and done. Unlike a lot of community theaters that have you audition for each show, once you attend our January audition and begin working with us throughout the year, you won't need to audition again. You are now considered a part of our permanent cast and on our payroll. Yes, that is right, some of our events pay our cast members to perform. If you are going out for a role that has a duet or harmony component, (like in the case of Frozen) you may be asked to perform that harmony in person so we can match voices correctly. But otherwise, once we have worked with you time and time again, we know your abilities and how to utilize them in the best way possible. You will have the opportunity to perform as several different characters during your time as a PDP Cast Member and of course have priority casting in our Spring Shows. You may notice some of the characters have been cast within our company for Frozen. Becoming a Cast Member gives you priority casting for our large full length shows. Meaning we open up casting to PDP Cast Members first, then open up roles to our community to audition at our January auditions. So after you join our team this January, you'll receive this same benefit for our next year's Spring Show.

As a PDP Cast Member, you will have the opportunity to be a director, music director, performer, musician, tech expert, work backstage, have manager opportunities, learn to style wigs and more. Our company not only hosts and performs at community shows but we also have a wig boutique and theater costume rental side of our business. As we continue to grow, so will employment opportunities.
